Historical survey — more than 10 years old; fish populations change.
Gear: gill nets, trap nets, night electrofishing, boat electrofishing
Among gill-netted Walleye, 166 fish, or 60%, measured at least 15 inches. (p. 5)
Gill nets captured 67 Northern Pike measuring 12 to 38 inches, with 47% at least 24 inches. (p. 6)
The largest gill-netted Muskellunge measured 42 inches and weighed just over 22 pounds. (p. 8)
May electrofishing captured 307 Smallmouth Bass measuring 2 to 19 inches at 94 fish per hour. (p. 12)
PFBC's plan, in our words: PFBC may consider spawning boxes as an alternative to Channel Catfish stocking; future stocking will follow statewide management-plan criteria. (p. 9)
Findings are our short summaries of one survey at one time. Every number was checked against the cited page of PFBC's report. We don't rate lakes.
