About this almanac
Who runs it
PA Lake Fishing Almanac is an independent publication operated by WeldonPC, a technology business in Garfield Heights, Ohio. It is not a government site.
Why it exists
Pennsylvania publishes a lot about its lakes — survey reports, trout schedules, fish-consumption advice, special regulations — in different places and formats. This site puts them on one page per lake and labels every fact with its season or list year, so you can see what's current and what's old.
How it pays for itself
A yearly printable almanac, small sponsored listings from bait shops and fishing guides, and one banner ad on most pages from AdEngine, WeldonPC's own small ad network. No tracking cookies and no analytics services; see Privacy.
Is this PFBC? No.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or reviewed by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission or the Department of Environmental Protection. Their sources are linked on every page.
What this site doesn't cover
Streams and rivers; Pennsylvania's Great Lakes waters; boating rules such as motor or horsepower limits, launch permits, boat registration and no-wake zones; paddling; private-pond stocking or pond care; lakefront property and lake associations; and water-level or closure notices. For those, go to PFBC and DEP directly.

There's no phone line or contact form. Most answers are on Help. Data corrections go through “Report a data error” on any lake page.
